Sterilise confidently with steam

Steam has been a trusted sterilisation method for more than 100 years. It’s been the go-to sterilant because it’s reliable, inexpensive and perfect for sterilising medical instruments that can withstand high heat, such as scalpels and scissors. We have also developed VH2O2 sterilisation assurance products for sensitive medical devices that cannot be exposed to high heat.

We understand the challenges you face in sterilising medical devices and instruments. As the inventor of rapid steam biological indicator (BI) technology, we leverage our decades of innovation in steam sterilisation assurance to develop biological and chemical indicators for sterilisation monitoring. Our products provide the assurance you need to sterilise medical devices, instruments and equipment while making sure every instrument is safe for use on patients.

We’re ready to help you simplify, standardise and streamline your sterilisation workflows. We can also provide you with starter kits, continuing education and technical support for all of our products.

3M Attest Biological Indicators

Our 3M™ Attest™ biological indicators (BIs) provide a fast, reliable and convenient way to validate and monitor the steam sterilisation process when used with 3M™ Attest™ Auto-readers. They are designed to monitor the effectiveness of sterilisers and individual sterilisation cycles. In fact, a biological indicator is the only way to directly measure the lethality of a sterilisation cycle.

We can help you choose the right Bl Process Challenge Device (PCD) solution to use at your facility. Get started with the Attest Bl selector guide below.
