About the product

3M™ LifeASSURE™ MFE Series Filter Cartridges are designed for high purity chemicals in the electronics industry. These hydrophobic PTFE membranes with polypropylene components are flushed with 18-MegaOhm DI water, providing excellent chemical resistance and high-efficiency contaminant reduction in acids, bases, solvents and photoresists used in semiconductors and microelectronics applications.

Product details

3M™ LifeASSURE™ MFE Series Filter Cartridges provide high flow rates and low hold-up volumes for ultra-high purity chemicals. By utilizing an optimized filter pleat construction, this hydrophobic PTFE membrane also delivers superior flow characteristics, excellent chemical resistance, fast start-up times, effective contaminant reduction and a long filter life.

Hydrophobic PTFE membrane.

A robust PTFE membrane filter and polypropylene materials provide excellent resistance in aggressive chemicals.

Advanced Pleat Technology (APT).

Radial pleat construction with APT provides a low differential pressure, an increased throughput and a high pore volume, resulting in a longer filter life.

Excellent chemical compatibility

3M™ LifeASSURE™ MFE Series Filter Cartridges are compatible with a wide range of chemicals.

3M™ LifeASSURE™ MFE Series Filter Cartridges are constructed with a high-efficiency hydrophobic PTFE membrane. The outer cage, inner core, end cap adapters and membrane support layers are made of polypropylene. No adhesives, binders or surfactants are used in the manufacturing process. Filter cartridges are manufactured and double-bagged in a clean environment under an ISO-certified quality system to provide downstream cleanliness. All MFE series cartridges are rinsed with 18-MegaOhm DI water and integrity-tested.
