Cheryl Manchenton, RN

Cheryl Manchenton, RN, BSN, CCDS, CPHM, is a senior inpatient consultant/ project manager/Solventum quality services lead, overseeing clinical documentation integrity (CDI) programs. She is a co-author and co-editor of the DRG Assurance Program training materials and contributor to For The Record and Inpatient Insights, and has been a featured speaker for AHIMA, ACDIS and HFMA.

She has more than 27 years of diverse experience including policy and procedure development, ethics oversight, staff training, education and clinical development, performance improvement and quality initiatives development and documentation improvement related to ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding. Cheryl’s clinical experience includes: GI/GU, ICU experience in solid organ transplant, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, neurosurgical and over 15 years experience in cardiovascular surgical care including VADs and transplant. Prior to joining Solventum, Cheryl was manager of Cardiac/Medical ICU and Cardiovascular ICU/Stepdown at a Level II 740+ bed hospital.

In her “spare time” she is a voracious reader, loves all kinds of music and her favorite place in the world is the beach!
