Debra Jones, CPC

Debra Jones brings over 28 years of diverse coding, revenue and project management experience to Solventum. Debra joined Solventum in 2009 as a coding analyst. In 2010 she moved on to manage the coding analyst team and led the team to partner with Solventum clients across multiple products providing superior customer service and support. In 2022 she transitioned into her new role as global clinical and content manager where she brings her many years of expertise to global initiatives and where she is aligned with driving international market growth including ICD-11. Prior to joining Solventum, Debra managed both a systems support team and a coding department for a large multi-specialty physician group within a large health care system. Debra served as a project manager for multiple operational and financial improvement initiatives including billing and system upgrades, new software implementations, Q/I registration process projects and coding and education initiatives. During that time, she also went onto receive her PMCC certification and implemented and led a coding education program designed to develop key staff in the areas of coding and compliance. In addition, Debra designed and managed the establishment of a new coding department to operationalize coding improvement processes to audit and analyze each of the over 35 departments coding practices. Debra earned her CPC credentials in 2001 along with her PMCC certification in 2002. She is also a past president of her AAPC Local Chapter.
