Karla VonEschen, MS, CPC, CPMA

Karla VonEschen, MS, CPC, CPMA, has worked in health care for more than 25 years in various health care roles ranging from health plan operations, consulting, auditing, and technology. Karla has been a clinical development analyst for Solventum since 2015 working with the 3M℠ CodeAssist℠ System products and most recently transitioned to a role as a clinical analyst with the Solventum Content Team. Karla thoroughly enjoys being able work with coding, documentation review, and technology in her current role. In addition to her work as a clinical analyst and writing blogs for Solventum Inside Angle, Karla has been published in For The Record magazine. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in community health education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has been an AAPC certified coder since 2002 as well as an AHIMA approved ICD-10 trainer. Karla currently resides in Minnesota and enjoys the seasonal changes and spending time outdoors.
