Megan Carr

Megan Carr joined Solventum in 2017 to head the regulatory and payer solutions team focused on expanding HIS’ engagement in public policy and regulatory issues at the federal and state levels.  Megan has over 20 years of public policy and legislative experience. She joined HIS after nine years of leading the federal lobbying team for Solventum Government Affairs in Washington D.C. Prior to 3M, Megan was the Executive Vice President for Government Affairs at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). Megan joined AdvaMed after focusing on health, trade, and tax issues as a senior advisor to Congressman Jim Ramstad (MN-03), a member of the Ways and Means Committee and the Health and Trade Subcommittees. Megan also was the lead staffer for the bipartisan House Medical Technology Caucus and House Republican Caucus on Disabilities. 

A native Minnesotan, Megan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas with degrees in Political Science, Business and Russian. She currently resides in Arlington, Va. with her husband and four sons. In her “spare time” she likes to run and go hiking with her dog.
