Subha Airan-Javia
Subha Airan-Javia, MD earned a BS in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000 and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2004. She then completed internal medicine residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, and joined faculty at the Perelman School of Medicine, where she now practices inpatient medicine as a hospitalist attending and Associate Professor in clinical medicine. Initially working as a physician liaison to the Information Systems Department, she ultimately became an Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the Health System. Dr. Airan-Javia served in that role until 2018, when she co-founded CareAlign to bring care orchestration technology she developed and implemented at Penn to other health systems. Dr. Airan-Javia now serves as full time entrepreneur and CEO of CareAlign, while continuing to practice medicine part-time at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
