3M™ MF-PP Series Capillary Membranes are completely synthetic made from the hydrophobic polyolefin polypropylene (PP). The Capillary Membranes may be used for liquid filtration, degassing of liquids or introduction of gases in liquids.

Product Details

Typical applications include industrial processes, chemical processes, automotive industry, food and beverage and sterile filtration. The 3M™ MF-PP Capillary Membrane Series is characterized by a symmetrical distribution of the pores along the cross section.
  • Being based in polypropylene, which is a pure hydrocarbon material, the 3M™ MF-PP Series Capillary Membranes do not have disposal problems relating to halogen content

  • 3M™ MF-PP Series Capillary Membranes provides good chemical and mechanical resistance to aqueous solutions of NaOH, Chlorine, H2O2, H₂SO₄ and HNO₃
  • 3M™ MF-PP Series Capillary Membranes can be cleaned using aqueous solutions of NaOH, H2O2 and Chlorine
