3M™ Flat Sheet Membrane on Roll

About the product

3M™ MICROLON™ Flat Sheet Membranes are available in a finely graduated pore size range. The completely synthetic membrane material is suitable in many fluid filtration applications in the microelectronics industry. Made from a solution of Polyamide 6 (PA6) the membrane material is inherently hydrophilic. The asymmetrical structure of the 3M™ MICROLON™ Flat Sheet Membrane leads to a combination of filtration features such as high retention of particles while still exhibiting a good water permeability.

Product Details

Due to the different characteristics of the membrane surfaces (air and roll side) the membrane can be used in applications based on the principle of depth filtration membrane or cake formation filtration. The positive charge over a wide pH range in combination with the hydrophilic nature of the base material makes the 3M™ Microlon™ Flat Membrane suitable for filtration of aqueous and organic solutions where a membrane with a higher nonspecific adsorption is required.
  • Positive charge over a large pH range (3-8)
  • Chemical resistant to alkaline solutions and organic solvents
  • Naturally hydrophilic, does not contain leachable wetting agents
