A simple solution for complex wounds
Designed specifically for use with 3M™ Veraflo™ Therapy, the 3M™ Veraflo™ Cleanse Choice™ Dressing provides an effective wound cleansing solution that promotes granulation tissue formation and creates a wound healing environment, making wound management easier for you and your patients.
Designed to meet your unique wound management needs, the 3M™ Veraflo™ Cleanse Choice™ Dressing is available in medium and large sizes with multiple layers in varying thicknesses. Providing mechanical movement at the wound bed that works with the cyclic delivery of instillation fluid and negative pressure wound therapy, the dressing foam has an array of 1cm x 8cm holes, helping to stimulate granulation tissue formation while removing nonviable tissue.
- Use the 3M™ Veraflo™ Cleanse Choice Dressing with 3M™ Veraflo™ Therapy to remove infectious material such as thick exudate, slough and other wound debris.
- The dressing has a cover layer that is designed to help capture large wound exudate particles before they potentially create blockage.
- Providing improved conformability and application options for wounds with varying depths, this multi-layer dressing is ideal for dirty wounds that can benefit from Veraflo Therapy.
- Dressing is available in medium and large sizes.
Suggested Applications
- Based on consensus of an international advisory panel of clinicians, Veraflo Therapy is appropriate for3: traumatic wounds, diabetic wounds, venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries/ulcers, surgical (including dehisced wounds), wounds with exposed intact bone, wounds with treated underlying osteomyelitis, infected or contaminated wounds in the presence of orthopedic fixation hardware, full-thickness burns after excision, wounds resulting from evacuation of a hematoma and when hemostasis is achieved, wounds that are a bridge between staged/delayed amputation1
- Application flexibility: Suitable for addressing wounds with complex geometries (e.g., explored tunnels and undermining)
- Compatible topical wound solutions include: normal saline, hypochlorous acid solution, sodium hypochlorite solution (dilute DAKIN’S Solution® 0.125% or quarter strength), acetic acid solution (0.25% to 1.0%), polyhexamethylene biguanide (0.1%) + betaine (0.1%)
